It will be a while before she’s old enough to actually drive the bus, but her heart is already headed in the right direction. And seeing her there got me thinking.
Moms, do you have the desire for your kids to do the work of the Lord?
As a follower of Jesus I want my children to want to serve Him!
However when I look around me I see very few teenagers with a heart for the Lord. Oh, they might still be hanging around church, but I'm talking about serving…
Doug and I are very blessed to have children who love to serve Jesus.
Week after week, our kids are working in the nursery, helping with the food pantry, setting up tables, or serving in worship and drama ministry.
And why would they be doing that? …probably to a large part because that's where Doug and I serve.
For our kids, it’s fun to serve the Lord. Children gain a passion for what they live as they imitate the passion of those around them.
Nathan as our oldest son has set a fine example. I'm so excited to see him already setting that example in his little daughter Lilibeth's life.
She thinks driving that bus is normal! That's where her daddy serves.
Where will your children grow in passion to serve the Lord?
